Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The relief prayed for in the present writ petition reads as under:- 1. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to restore back the physical and legal possession in ante status quo possession since the date of sale deed dated 04.01.2018 and dispossessed the private respondents from the land in question of Arazi No.183 forthwith by passing appropriate order in writing in regard to dispossess/delivery of possession of the petitioner in accordance with law. 2. To issue any other writ, order or direction, which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, may be passed in favour of the petitioner and against the respondents. 3.
