The case of the petitioners is that after acquisition of some part of their land by the respondents, they are still left with an area measuring 0.0502 hectare and over which their crop was standing. However, the officials of the respondent no.2 have destroyed the standing crop. The petitioners have, therefore, prayed for a direction to the respondents to vacate the remaining land of the petitioners and for a direction to respondent no.2 to decide their application dated 25.01.2025, in which the petitioners have prayed for award of compensation and for possession of the remaining area. 2. Learned counsel for respondent no.2 points out that petitioner no.1 has already filed an application before Tehsildar for demarcation of the remaining area.
