1 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 1668 of 2025 ORDER: The Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is filed on behalf of the petitioner/A1 to grant anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No.45/2018 of Chittoor I Town UPS, Chittoor. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner for the offence punishable under Sections 506 and 509 IPC. 3. Case of the prosecution in brief, is that, on 18.4.2018, the informant namely A.K.Saravana, District Chiranjeevi Fans Association President, Chittoor gave report to police by stating that on 16.4.2018, the accused Sri Reddy, Junior Artist abused mother of Pawan Kalyan by insulting her modesty through social media and TV channels and also threatened with dire consequences. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the offences alleged against the petitioner by the police are bailable offences and hence, the anticipatory bail application is not maintainable. 2 6. A perusal of the material available on record goes to show that the accusations made against the petitioner herein are punishable under Sections 506 and 509 IPC
