On the basis of instructions received from the State, it is informed that the land in question has not been approved to be allotted for the purpose for which a resolution was passed by the Land Management Committee on 10.7.2023. 3. In these circumstances, we cannot go into the legality of such a decision particularly when the State Government is vigilant enough to maintain the facility of cremations at the places where the last rites of dead bodies are performed. 4.
